Streetwave is preparing a comprehensive 4G and 5G mapping exercise across the East Midlands, covering urban centres and rural areas.
A major mobile coverage survey covering the East Midlands region has commenced, with Streetwave deploying measurement equipment to collect real-world 4G and 5G data across both urban and rural areas.
The survey will provide councils, transport authorities and communities across the East Midlands with detailed coverage data, helping to identify where mobile connectivity falls short of what operator maps suggest and where investment is most needed.
The project is among the largest coverage mapping exercises undertaken in the region and will contribute to the East Midlands’ connectivity planning work.
