Two new coverage mapping programmes have launched with Streetwave: one covering the Glasgow city region and another undertaking rural signal assessments across Monmouthshire in Wales.
The Glasgow programme is among the first major urban coverage surveys in Scotland, using council fleet vehicles to collect data across the city region’s road network. Monmouthshire’s rural survey focuses on areas where operator coverage maps are most likely to overstate actual signal availability.
Both programmes will produce publicly accessible coverage data to help residents, businesses and local authorities understand the true state of mobile connectivity in their areas.
